Huge congratulations to Emily who has been offered a place in the Halle Youth Orchestra. This is a real achievement at the age of only 15 and also the fact that she gained a place as one of only three flutes that were selected after twenty seven flutes auditioned.

This is going to be a fantastic experience and also a massive commitment as she will have to travel from York to Manchester every week for rehearsals, but it is another step in the right direction to pursue her dream of studying music and becoming a professional flautist.
